Calappa hepatica (Linnaeus, 1758)
60mm

Calappa hepatica has a bumpy texture, but more uniformly without the larger lumps seen in Calappa torulosa. The legs are white to yellowish with longitudinal brownish bands. It too is found in lagoon sand, often around patches of Halimeda algae.
