Facelinella semidecora (Pease, 1860)
15mm

This is one of the more common shallow water eolid nudibranchs in Hawaii. There were often found under rocks on shallow reefs such as those at Kewalo, Hauula, Fort Kam, and others. We found several specimens at a depth of less than a meter under rocks near the lagoon beach of Kure Atoll. We also found them, although rarely, in ledges at night at Makua and Pupukea. This is sometimes put in the genus Phidiana.
