This species was found occasionally at night at Makua and Pupukea, Oahu. It was fairly common, and larger, under rocks in the lagoon of Kure Atoll during trips we made there in 1979 and 1980. This would appear to be what Gosliner et all (2008) call Platydoris inornata, although those appear to differ a bit in color. We also have this from the Marshall Islands.
