Several specimens of this and another species, Eubranchus sp. e886, were found on a hydroid and algae encrusted mooring line at Kwajalein by Christina Sylvester. They measured less than 10mm. A number of additional specimens have been found at Majuro Atoll. It is figured in Gosliner et al (2018) as Eubranchus sp. 11 from Papua New Guinea.
