Tenellia sp. e657
15mm

These two animals were found together under a small loose colony of living Porites coral on the seaward reef on 4 February 2013. There is some resemblance to Tenellia minor, and they probably are the same species, but they looked different enough to keep them separate until we are sure. One was roughly similar to T. minor but with yellow coloration, including yellow bands on the rhinophores. Its cerata were less smooth than typical for T. minor, and the second specimen took that to an extreme with extremely bumpy cerata.
