The first specimen of this small eolid nudibranch (first photo below) was found in a lagoon reef Halimeda algae patch at a depth of 8m on 31 August 2008. It measured 10mm in length. Its papillate rhinophores and basic coloration are reminiscent of Marshall Islands Berghia major. However, it also looks kind of like the Baeolidia japonica on the Sea Slugs of Hawaii site, so we are putting it there.

The specimen below measured 9mm and was found on a Kwajalein Atoll lagoon reef in Halimeda algae at a depth of 8m on 27 December 2008.

The specimen below is most likely a darker form of Baeolidia japonica. It was found on a Kwajalein Atoll lagoon pinnacle on Caulerpa algae at a depth of 10m on 11 October 2010.

The 12mm specimen in the two photos below was found in a Kwajalein lagoon Halimeda patch on 12 September 2011.
