This pretty purple jelly was found and photographed by Christina Sylvester on the lagoon side of Kwajalein's north point.
Christina Sylvester also captured this extraordinary image of a small carangid fish inside a jelly that appears to be a young Thysanostoma loriferum. The fish was swimming along, moving the jelly around. It appears to me to be intentional behavior, the fish moving its protective host around as it searches for food?
