Stebbingdromia plumosa (Lewinsohn, 1984)

Stebbingdromia plumosa is one of the sponge crabs, with rear legs that articulat upwards and are used to hold chunks of sponge over the carapace. The mostly inedible sponges are used for camouflage and possibly as a deterrent to predation by fish.
