Micippa cf platipes Rüppell, 1830
30mm

The downward pointing rostrum and elongate eye stalks suggest a species of Micippa. While the sponge or algae decorations make critical details of the animal difficult or impossible to see, what is visible seems not inconsistent with Micippa platipes. The specimens figured below were found under a rock on the seaward reef and in a lagoon Halimeda patch. It is possible that the figures show more than one species.
