Lybia caestifera (Alcock, 1898)
12mm

Lybia caestifera is a small crab that carries a juvenile sea anemone in each of its pincers for defense or to aid in feeding. These have been found rarely under rocks on shallow lagoon reefs and in Kwajalein Island reef quarries.

The next two photos by Christina Sylvester show an animal from one of the Kwajalein reef quarries.
