Crossotonotus cf spinipes (de Man, 1888)

We have these tentatively identified as Crossotonotus spinipes. It is a fast moving crab with a carapace about 50mm wide. It lives under rocks, but can be seen exposed on rocks at night; it can suddenly zip away when disturbed.
