Ascidiophilus cf caphyraeformis Richters, 1880
20mm

This is one of the so called sponge crabs, with its rear legs articulating upward to hold something over itself. This looks close to the Ascidiophilus caphyraeformis in Ryanskiy (2020). We saw these under rocks on seaward and lagoon reefs.
