Nebularia coarctata (Reeve, 1844)

 Nebularia 
  coarctata is moderately common on lagoon reefs 
  and pinnacles, usually under rocks by day or exposed in ledges at night. Depth 
  range is mostly from 6 to 16m. 
  It remembles Nebularia contracta 
  in color, but is proportionally much shorter for its width and the aperture 
  proportionally longer.


It is not certain the two empty shells figured below are both actually the 
  same species.
