Echinaster luzonicus (Gray, 1840)

Commonly with six arms, Echinaster luzonicus is variable in color and common at numerous sites around Anilao.

A "comet," five arms regrowing from a single detached arm.

This species is also often colonized by red and white mottled benthic ctenophores.

Ctenophores nearly completely cover this one.
