Tumidodromia dormia (Linnaeus, 1763)

These large crabs have rear legs that articulate upwards to carry something, usually chunks of sponge, over themselves for camouflage. They also may carry other items such as the soft corals in the first two photos below, or even debris like the remnants of a coconut husk in the third. There are several similar species, and it is possible we don't have them separated properly.
