Marshall Islands Tuna (Scombridae)

Most of the Scombridae are open water fish that only occasionally come close enough to the reef to be seen by most divers. Here are three species that are either reef dwellers or are seen often enough for us to have managed to get a photo. Unless otherwise noted, sizes given are maximum sizes for the species listed in Fishbase, not necessarily the size of the figured specimen.
