Ophidiasteridae spp.

The identification of these are uncertain and the photos likely show more than one species. Specimens would need to be examined to determine genus (or genera). These are usually hidden under rocks on lagoon and seaward reefs, and measure up to about 200mm.

One arm tip on this one is pure white. Perhaps it regenerated without the color.
