Dactylosaster cylindricus (Lamarck, 1816)

This are tentatively identified as Dactylosaster cylindricus but they could be the extremely similar Ophidiaster hemprichi, which could actually be the same species. Our specimens were found under rocks on lagoon and seaward reefs.

Probably a darker color form of the same species.
