Haliclona peixinhoae Bispo, Correia & Hajdu, 2016

This soft species of sponge was under a rock on a lagoon reef. Haliclona peixinhoae was originally described from Brazil so it is possible the Pacific version may turn out to be a different species. However, sponges' ability to adhere to the bottom of ships hulls and floating debris makes them able to effectively spread around.
