Chelonaplysilla sp. 3

This nearly black sponge externally resembles the encrusting form of the purple Chelonaplysilla violacea and may be a color variety of the same species. Several different kinds of nudibranchs have been found eating the various Chelonaplysilla like sponges. Here, an undescribed Goniobranchus species is feeding on the sponge.
