Liomia medusa (Savigny, 1822)

This rather tentative identification is based on a species identified from Hawaii, which also has long white tentacles. It would require examination of specimens to be sure they are indeed the same. Species determination in the terebellids is difficult from the feeding tentacles alone. Specimens have been found on lagoon, pinnacle and seaward reefs at Kwajalein Atoll. The tentacles can be at least 2m long.
