Atherinomorus lacunosus (Forster, 1801)
Wide-banded hardyhead silverside, 25cm?

These form schools, usually in shallow water or near the surface in deeper water. The close photo immediately below by Jay Lord is certainly this species, but there are several species of similar fish and some of the distant shots of schools may actually be something dfferent. Ours are just a few centimeters long, much smaller than the 25cm Fishbase lists as the maximum size. Perhaps young?
