Stomatopod planktonic larva

One night when there were lots of planktonic creatures attracted to our dive lights, we were startled at the needle-like pokes we were feeling on any exposed skin. Upon surfacing, we found several of these stuck in the sleeves of our wetsuits They appeared to be the planktonic larval stage of Stomatopod mantis shrimp. There is no way to identify the species at this stage of growth.
