Ankersquilla pardus Ahyong, Porter & Caldwell, 2020

This spotted stomatopod has been observed in Kwajalein Atoll twice, once in a lagoon patch of Halimeda algae on sand and the other under a rock on a shallow pinnacle reef in the southern Kwajalein lagoon. Ankersquilla pardus was recently described from specimens collected in French Polynesia and Indonesia.
