Pylopaguropsis lemaitrei Asakura & Pauley, 2003

Pylopaguropsis lemaitrei is a moderately uncommon hermit crab found mostly on the seaward reef at Kwajalein, but I do remember seeing them on lagoon pinnacles as well, usually under rocks or in rubble. The Colubraria nitidula shell in the first photo below was about 25mm.
