Pagurixus nomurai Komai & Asakura, 1995

These have been found under rocks or in caves at night on lagoon, pinnacle and seaward reefs. Like other species of Pagurixus, their long legs are fast and enable them to move very quickly. The Jujubinus polychromis shell in the first photo below measured no more than about 9mm.
