Pagurixus cf maorus (Nobili, 1906)

This small species seems similar to Pagurixus maorus but the identification remains uncertain. Like other species of Pagurixus, it has long legs and moves quickly. These have been found under rocks on lagoon pinnacles. The Spinidrupa euracantha shell in the first photo below measured about 20mm or less.
