Gymnothorax pindae Smith, 1962
Monochrome moray, 39cm

Although we can see only the head, the solid brown coloration is consistent with descriptions of Gymnothorax pindae, which is listed as being in the Marshalls. The individual photographed below was quite small as indicated by the zoanthids below and on the sides, which were each probably only about 25mm in diameter.

The one below was found by Ken Cone and Beth Van Zummeren at Majuro Atoll.
