Marshall Islands Sand-divers (Trichonotidae)

The sand divers are elongate fishes hover in groups above sandy lagoon slopes. Only a couple of species are known from the Marshalls, but the males and females differ in color. The size given is the maximum size for the species listed in Fishbase, not necessarily the size of the figured specimen.
