Pomacentrus yoshii Allen & Randall, 2004
Yoshi's damsel, 6.9cm

This was photographed by Raphaël Forns, who reported them common at Majuro Atoll, often forming groups on lagoon patch reefs and pinnacles. At the time of the original description in 2004, the species was known from only Majuro and Mili Atolls in the eastern Marshall Islands. I know of no specimens observed at Kwajalein and Enewetak Atolls, where I spent many years.
