Favites vasta (Klunzinger, 1879)

This small colony was growing in the shade in about 10m of water on a large midlagoon pinnacle. the first two shots show the same colony a bit more than 5 years apart. Although the polyp shapes were different, the overall colony had not changed much in size during that time. The difference in color is at least partly due to different cameras and processing.
