Heteractis aurora (Quoy & Gaimard, 1833)
Sand anemone

Heteractis aurora is unmistakable with its characteristic lumpy tentacles. Its base is usually attached to a rock deep in the sand and the anemone will retract fully under the sand when disturbed. This leaves any anemonefish living in it exposed to predation until the anemone decides to come back out. In the Marshalls, it pretty much always is occupied by Amphiprion tricinctus, often juveniles.
