Abdopus abaculus (Norman & Sweeney, 1997)
Longarm octopus. 80mm (not including arms)

These appear to be Abdopus abaculus, one of the long-armed octopus. They were most often observed in sandy areas and algae patches on lagoon reefs, but could also be found in sand channels on the seaward reef.
