Ophionereis porrecta Lyman, 1860

These may be variations of Ophionereis porrecta, but that still needs verification. Most specimens have been found under rocks on lagoon reefs, but a few were seen on the seaward reef.

Underside of previous individual.

Some curl themselves up with their arms over their disk when exposed, possibly to protect the critical part of the body.

A darker form, possibly younger.

The pattern on the arms seems to tie the one below to the specmens above.
