Halimeda macroloba Decaisne, 1841

Halimeda macroloba has rather large segments and is found on lagoon and seaward reefs.

The accumulation of tiny dark green balls around the edges of the segments appear to be gametangial clusters involved in the algae's sexual reproduction. The bare white segments suggest the plant may be dying as it is sending out its gametes.
