Sistrum ricinus (Linnaeus, 1758)

Sistrum ricinus is very common intertidally and on a wide range of shallow subtidal lagoon, pinnacle and seaward reefs. Differences from the very similar and possibly conspecific Sistrum arachnoides are discussed under that species.
