Erosaria poraria (Linnaeus, 1758)
Porous cowry, 22mm
Although very common in much of the Indo-Pacific, Erosaria poraria
is rather uncommon in Hawaii. We typically saw specimens in ledges and caves
at night in about 5m of water.
We have also seen Erosaria
poraria in the Marshall Islands.
