Hexabranchus sanguineus (Rüppell & Leuckart, 1828)

We saw two of this species on 2 April 1994 west of Mbokonmbeti Island, Nggela. Unfortunately, we did not get photos, but the identification was clear. We have also seen this species in Hawaii and in the Marshall Islands, but whether they are all really Hexabranchus sanguineus is still somewhat questionable. If one examines the numerous photos of Hexabranchus available on the web, it is hard to believe they are all one species.
