Roboastra gracilis (Bergh, 1877)
20mm

These would all appear to be Roboastra gracilis. We have about five specimens, the first two photos from Linggatu Cove, Russell Islands, at night on 15 August 1987; the third shot from a night dive at Samata, Russells; and the fourth from Kakambona on Guadalcanal at night on 5 April 1994. Another specimen was observed at Anuha Island, Nggela, on 3 April 1994. The Solomon specimens resemble many of those figured on the Sea Slug Forum, but differ a bit in rhinophore and gill coloration and size from specimens we have identified as this species from the Marshall Islands.
