Gymnodoris sp. s043

We found a single specimen of this undescribed species of Gymnodoris at night near Yandina on 14 August 1987. Unfortunately, the photos of this one did not come out (or perhaps I had run out of film), so we do not have a picture of the Solomon Islands specimen. Below is the same species from the Marshall Islands, and as I recall, it looked exactly the same. In some areas, what may be this same species has much larger white warts, as seen on the Sea Slug Forum.
