Glossodoris buko Matsuda & Gosliner, 2018
15mm

This species was recently differentiated from the nearly identical Glossodoris pallida by DNA analysis. According to that study, G. pallida is found in the Red Sea and western Indian Ocean, while G. buko is known from the western Pacific, hence our identification of this animal as the latter. Only one of these was found, at Savo Island on 21 August 1987.
