Ercolania? sp. e823
<10mm

This small sacoglossan is difficult to see against the Dictyosphaeria algae, but it looks like it could be a species of Ercolania or Placida. It may be the one we are calling Placida sp. e736. An egg mass is deposited on the algae next to the slug. This animal was found on a lagoon reef at night by Jay Lord.
