Discodoris concinna (Alder & Hancock, 1864)
There is some question about whether this is a good species or just a form of Discodoris lilacina. We think it looks somewhat different from the D. lilacina we have seen in Hawaii and the Marshalls, although our photos below closely match the specimens of D. lilacina on the Sea Slug Forum. The form from the Marshall Islands closely matches that from Hawaii, where D. lilacina was originally described. Eight specimens were recorded from a single snorkeling expedition on the shallow reef off the beach at The Village Hotel.
