Pleurobranchus grandis Pease, 1868
19mm

This young specimen of Pleurobranchus grandis was found by John and Lynette Flynn on a shallow interisland reef (~1.5m depth) at Majuro Atoll. Originally described from Huaheini in French Polynesia, it is also known from Hawaii, the western Pacific (Philippines, Indonesia, etc) and the Red Sea. A new record for the Marshalls, it nicely fills the gap in the known Pacific distribution.
