These were common at several coral rubble and muck dive sites, including Tanda Rusa, Jahir 1 and 2, Aer Prang 1 and 4, and others. Sometimes they were found in clusters of muliple individuals and often laying down their egg masses.

Juvenile.

One large individual was host to a commensal shrimp Periclimenes imperator.
