Nanakuli, Oahu

The bottom from Nanakuli on Oahu's west shore slopes out gradually offshore until it hits some small ledges at around 15 meters or so. This was far enough out that I did these ledges only by boat and only occasionally, but this was the best area for Ceratosoma tenue and a good spot to find Chromodoris sp. h132. I tried diving in close to shore here a couple of times, but there was little relief (no ledges) and few rocks to turn so few species were found.
