Hydatina amplustre (Linnaeus, 1758)
25mm

This could be seen occasionally on intertidal and shallow subtidal reefs such as the ones at Kewalo Basin and Hauula. I also found several specimens while snorkeling on the intertidal reef at Puako, Hawaii. I once ran into a bunch of them on the intertidal reef bench at Campbell Industrial Park near Ewa at night. Perhaps they were gathering to breed.
