Haleiwa offshore, Oahu

This was a site more or less even with or out from the Haleiwa harbor channel marker buoy, and a bit west. I dove this by boat a few times before I started looking for slugs. It was mostly a flat hard reef at about 15m depth with low coral, some loose rocks, and a few small ledges where lots of fish gathered. It was far enough out that it was only a boat dive, although I did try it a couple of times from the shore. It was a good 45-minute swim on snorkel on the surface, then again back after the dive. On one occasion, I saw two either Phyllidia scottjohnsoni or Phyllidiopsis loricata—I wasn't distinguishing between them at the time.
