Ceratosoma sp. h248
40mm

I've gone back and forth over whether to consider this Ceratosoma or Glossodoris. At present, I lean towards Ceratosoma from my recollection of its relatively stiff texture and shape similar to Ceratosoma palliolatum from the Marshall Islands. But it will take examination of additional specimens to be certain. Only one is known at this time, found by Stan Jazwinski on a research trip to French Frigate Shoals in June of 1983. He kindly brought it back to Oahu alive for me to photograph.
