Dendrodoris fumata (Rüppell & Leuckart, 1831)
75mm

I found this species only twice in Hawaii. The first time was on the infamous trespassing expedition to Iriquios Channel in Pearl Harbor on 13 March 1982. Many specimens, possibly 50 or more, were observed at that time under rocks at depths of 1 to maybe 3m. The second time, I saw three specimens under rocks along the channel leading into Honolulu Harbor on 25 June 1983.
